New .410 gun quality a real disapointment

Does anyone else have quality problems with every new .410 they buy or is it just me. I really believe the manufacturers don't take these guns seriously. I'm pretty discouraged. Every .410 I've purchased should have went back to the factory for various reasons. Is this just a .410 thing or are all new guns like this? I am talking six guns from tristar, browning,Henry and franchii. It's like quality control doesn't exist. Guns used to last generations and never sent back. Now it seems like you're lucky if you can limp through a season with out sending it back. I've not had a good experience with the .410. I guess I am going to drag out the old model 97 12ga. And figure they haven't made a gun since. Sorry for the rant but the manufacturers sure don't care.

I have a new sa410 that on two different time the receiver has locked with a shell in the chamber and would not fire or could not eject the shell. Very frustrating from a brand new gun. I’m gonna have the bore polished I see if that helps.

It’s that a manufacturing defect on the gun or on the shell?
I have the SA410 and some of the cheddite410 hulls do that. But the Fiocchi hulls don’t have those problems in my gun

I have the

-Cva Scout .410 turkey
-Mossberg 500 Bottomland original 24"
-Remington 870 Tss .410
-Browning Bps 24" .410

I have had no issues with any of them, I have not shot the Browning Bps yet.

I had the same issue but took him back and they swapped it on another one that does fine.. 2 out of 3 in the store did that.. polishing bore did not help

Also is only locked up on lead shells.. the higher quality tss loads were fine.. I didn’t want it to lock up at all however.. cheap Rio shells are out of the question

I had the same problem, but only with my hand loads. I bought a .410 shell resized and resized the hulls before I loaded them and it fixed my problem. Works perfectly now.
