940 Pro Turkey vs SX4
940 Pro Turkey vs SX4
I am looking at both of these guns and Fox Trot ammo is 1st on the list to try. The 940 is a 3in gun and the SX4 is a 3 1/2. Have you done any testing with either of these guns and which shell/choke combo would you start with? the barrel length on both guns will be 24 if this makes any difference. Thanks

I personally haven’t tested either of those. Plenty of my customers have. Both are great turkey killers
The 3” Thunder 9’s or 8x9 blend is going to be shooting in the 380-450 range in the 10” with the Indiancreek chokes

is the .665 choke a good starting point?

I have a buddy with a SX4 and that’s a killing machine there!

In the SX4. Only 660 for the invector which is what the 940 takes I believe

Dang, I was hoping they would stick with the UltiMag barrels like the 835 and 935 had. Those 10 gauge sizes barrels threw wicked patterns

So between the 940 and the 935 are you saying you would go with the 935? How have the 935's patterned with Fox trot ammo?
