A buddy of mine uses that setup with the Remington sabots. But slug guns are picky. I have an Encore 20ga slug barrel that will cloverleaf the Winchester dual bonds. But won’t group anything else anywhere near as accurate. You about have to shoot it to find out.

Turk, that's the problem. I have an Ultra-Slugger 20 ga that clover leafs the Browning shells. I currently have a 14 yo daughter and 15 yo son that are ready for deer guns in a shotgun only state. Nobody has the Remington accu-tips anywhere in the country and Remington is dead in the water with a hole in the engine room.

I was at Whitaker Guns last Friday, they had the Barnes Expanders in 20ga… they might ship you a case of them.
My 220 loves the Federal Trophy Coppers.

Dude the 3” Remington Accutips are true 250 yard deer killers
Big scope is a plus
Also you need to loctite toe screws holding the stock to the receiver or they will come loose. Ask me how I know.

I know what you mean! When I shot a slug gun all mine liked were the 260gr Winchester dual bonds. Winchester hadn’t made any in years. I finally found 4 boxes at a gun show. I shoot Tarhunt slugs in my benelli m2 slug gun there a little expensive but there the best in my gun I've tried all the slugs out there and Tarhunt Shrifile shoot the best.

Using 3" Accutips because I like a little more "punch" and I believe the 3" pick up the lands faster. I tried a lot of sabots they shot the best in my 220. I love the gun. The only con I have is that blood trails are a little sparse. I would not be afraid to take a 250-yard shot with it... If anyone buys one, don't get the scope combo, buy a better scope yourself and mount...IMO
