870 16ga Compact

Post by Hoobilly »

Bought this a while back and have been patiently waiting on Indiancreek to make chokes for it. Pleasantly surprised at how good its shooting with both chokes. .610 .615 are the sizes they made. So I was able to shoot them both through the factory barrel and the other barrel I got from a member on here

378 in the 10” circle with the SweeTSS 16 1-7/8 oz FoxTrot and had only been boresnaked. I’m hoping a good polishing and it will improve Definitely taking this fall turkey hunting for my Rio and probably going to sell this combo after that

Don’t get me wrong I do like it. But I love Ithaca 16’s and I’m looking for a deerslayer smoothbore to make into a turkey rig.

This compact is rare and I’ll sell it cause after I kill one with it I would put it up to not ruin it and the value

Ooooooh, my 16 ga 870 has been in the closet for about 6 years now. This gives me some motivation to bring her out of her retirement!

You need both chokes!

I’ll be shooting some duplex loads soon and see how they do

Brice,
Could you order me both the .610 and the .615 as well?
Get there early, stay late, sit still and don't use weather as an excuse to stay home.

My buddy that is my go to FFL, got a really nice Ithaca 37 16 gauge last year at a great price. Wasn’t a deer slayer, but is dang nice gun.
