The foodsaver v4825 is a 2 in 1 vacuum sealer system. Essentially, this implies that it embodies both a handheld vacuum sealer as well as the standard vacuum sealing system. For most sealing efforts, the handheld vacuum sealer should suffice, and thus, you may not even need the other sealing system. Since it has a handheld option, it tends to introduce some form of flexibility to the entire effort, giving you some control over the sealing process. With the system, you can heat seal several types of goods.

My opinion when it comes to the food saver brand vacuum sealer they all work the same and the life’s of the unit are all the same. They make a great cheap unit. Bags are the most expensive part of the deal. We moved up to a chamber sealer they are a little pricey but have put 1000s of bags threw it and still running like a champ.

Great review on this unit and I would agree totally on it

Use to have this one then we burned it out. So the last couple years we been running a vac master chamber sealer. They aren’t cheap the unit cost about 600 bucks but the bags are a 5 cent a piece and the bags can be reused. we can even seal a potato chip bag. If you do a lot of sealing this is the way to go.
