Cheesy & Creamy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Post by HunterGKS »

Kroger had Brussels Sprouts on sale the other day so I bought a couple of ponds. This recipe sounded good.
The only problem was it didn’t have any amounts listed so I had to come up with my own. All that cheese
made it nice & ooey gooey!! It was pretty tasty!!

Cheesy & Creamy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

• 3 Tablespoons butter
• 1 medium onion chopped
• 1 pound Brussels sprouts halved & roughly trimmed.
• Salt and pepper to taste.
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 8 ounces cheddar cheese
• 6 strips of bacon finely chopped

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Add the butter into a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the onions &
Brussels sprouts & cook for 10-12 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are tender.
3. Remove the skillet off the heat transferring the Brussels Sprouts & onions to a baking dish.
4. Stir in the heavy cream until the vegetables are coated. Sprinkle over the shredded cheeses
and chopped bacon.
5. Place the baking dish in a preheated oven & bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is
bubbling & the bacon is crispy.
