Logan Raines got some of the 3” 20ga Hog killers in #2 shot to help thin out a few.

Finally got on one that stuck around and let him get close enough at 70 yards so he could lay the hammer to it.

Logan said at 70 it smoked it and only ran 40 yards before piling up.

Tss #2’s is some mean hog medicine

Was wondering what size shot was being used on hogs. What choke constriction was he using on the 20?
Can you use your Turkey choke?

What size load was that and how many #2s in that load . Do you think that would be the best size (#2) for deer also ?

Same basic load as Tommy Duliba’s 90/93. I have the info wrote down at my office. Off the head I have no idea how many pellets are in it

1-5/8oz of tss #2's is about 88 pellets total in the shell

Thanks , that's one hell of a pattern on the shoulder of that hog , looks like one the went into the heart.
I just trying to figure out what size shot , and payload would be best for Deer and Hogs , say out to 80 yards.

In the 20ga I would shoot 2’s at 1-5/8 oz
