Hull trimmer for 20 gauge
Hull trimmer for 20 gauge
I just purchase some TSS to load my own shells. I shoot a Benelli m2 in 20 gauge and I understand that I will have to trim the hulls a bit to have the gun cycle properly. Please advise as to what hull trimmer would do the job. Also, if there is a diy option, please let me know. Thank you.

Check out the Pinhoti video on loading TSS. He uses a homemade one.

If you had posted on the handloading forum you might have seen how to make one out of a dowel and exacto blade. Lots of good info there. The link is a "sticky".

If you can find a good 2 3/4” recipe it will solve your cycling issues, all I load in 20 gauge anymore is 2 3/4”.

I agree. Simpler the better and less $$$. it's not as if we are loading shells for a barn burner dove shoot. Gil
