After going to the recent Unicoi turkey call show in Georgia, I found a new desire to start making turkey call strikers again. It's been about 8 years since I've made very many and wasn't sure I still had what it takes. On the trip home, I had an idea and called my buddy Brian Aliff who has crazy talent when it comes to painting turkey calls. I ran the idea by him and he was up for it. When I got home I hit the shop and sent Brian 5 strikers for him to paint. What he did was far beyond my dreams.
Four of these went to good friends that are also very good turkey call makers. The turkey head stays with me. Thanks again Brian. I am in awe of you amazing talent.

beautiful art work!
Shag Hill Custom Calls aka Clay Townsend had some pot calls with artwork. insane detail. Said he was at the post office dropping off orders and a lady was showing off some stuff she had done. They got to talking and he asked her if she had done turkeys before and she said no but she could definitely do them. Boy she sure did.
