Turkey Hunting Tips
Turkey hunting tips and tricks can make the difference between an easy hunt, or one in which you end up giving up after a few hours. Here are some great turkey hunting strategies from experts who have killed their fair share of birds over time:
-Tail Watching -Most people get too excited when they see ducks fly overhead so keep your eye on where those goons land instead! If there's only two options for roosters then look at them head-on rather than side angle because that will give better indication as to what direction he may take next based off his location using sound waves specific frequencies cannot be picked out by others nearby but clearly heard through direct line.

Re: Turkey Hunting Tips
I had never seen a turkey in the woods I was hunting, so I sat there thinking to myself,
self I thought:
“Here turkey, turkey, turkey. HERE TURKEY, TURKEY, TURKEY!!!!”
My thought waves must have been on the same specific frequencies as I thought in 3,
count em, 3 turkeys!!
Since I am new to turkey hunting & far from an expert, I tried to watch the tail
(just like I do with nicely built PYTs), but the 3 were facing me so I couldn’t see their
tails. I did get excited when they walked down the trail expecting them to fly so I could
watch where the goonies landed but they didn’t fly which confused me. Instead, I had to
watch those dang roosters head-on since they weren’t walking sideways.
Anyway, I hope some day to become an expert so I can pass along such excellent & on-point
tips as in the 1st post of these threads which will help me & others immensely on future hunts!!

That's very wise.

I never took a Psychology class in school but, those that have say everybody is a little crazy. Some just take it to a sky high level.

Re: Turkey Hunting Tips
Thank you for letting me know a new tip. I also want to share a few tips that I find quite useful when hunting turkeys. Two keys to using the mouth call: Don’t simply blow across the reeds, but huff air up from deep in your diaphragm. And work your jaw up and down when you yelp, just like when you talk. Moreover, The two best woods for friction calls are cherry and walnut.
