Deer Blind

I have a guy I work with looking for a ground blind. He had hip surgery about a month ago and he doesn't think he'll feel comfortable in a treestand this fall. He's a little guy, probably 5'7" maybe 135lbs. He doesn't really have a budget, but I know he doesn't want to spend a fortune either. He would like one to where he at least has enough room to maneuver around a little bit and not feel like he's in a tin can.

I don't use a ground blind, so I can't give him any good advice except what I have seen on TV.

Any input from anyone who has one would be greatly appreciated so I can pass it on to him and he can start researching.

I use these, there free setting by road everywhere, portable and lightweight... I use mesh for Windows most the time

Exactly what the Roost said ! You're below the Mason/Dixon line so not much cold honestly. If possible set it up soon and enjoy it !

X2 on Barnett blinds...have had a "big Mike for the last 10 years, with no issues except the main entrance zipper fabric let go, couple inches, and I fixed it myself with a curved needle and 50lb nylon fishing line, like new. I can stand and go to full draw in it... I always treat my blinds with waterproof spray and roll-on tent seam protector every year, it makes them last longer IMO. Double bull to expensive in my book and stay away from Muddy Infinity 2... great idea but junk

Rhinoshield cloth is the good one

They have side zip and a full zip top to bottom to make it easier to get into

Here's what I have and a tad bit pricey fer' him, but after my home made one weathered to pieces, this fit on my elevated stand just fine.
