I’m going with house cat. Any other pictures with another critter in the same location for comparison?

How do you know it's profession?
Re: What do you guys think this is?
Spider monkey
Re: What do you guys think this is?
Haha what's funny is that was one of the responses in the group text of the guys I hunt with. It does kind of look like a monkey except for the cat ears.
Re: What do you guys think this is?
I should add that this is not from my game camera. It's from a neighboring property. He sent this picture of the picture to me, so I have no reference points. This was the only picture he has though of this animal

Re: What do you guys think this is?
I cropped the pic & blew it up to 300%. The head does look like a cat but the legs & body don't. The legs look
out of proportion to the body.
I would say it's not a monkey or a painter/panther/cougar. I'm not sure what it is.

Re: What do you guys think this is?
I posted a pic within the last year, have to find it, that was similar. Consensus on the Florida forums was a monkey. This was in south Florida so it was possible. Camera never got it again. Ask the local animal shelters if anyone has inquired about a lost pet exotic animal.
I'm going with house cat in the first pic based on the full haired tail. Last pic on the downed tree a jaguar - maybe not. Too close to call. lol.
Found my pic. It's attached. Help yourself George. Nobody thought to crop and enlarge.

Never saw this monkey like critter again. This may be why. Someone else was looking for him. Be it monkey or house cat he would have solved the problem.
