I know some have been looking for one of these. It’s not mine, just passing it along.

I’m sorry but I just can’t bring myself to pay that kind of money for a 870 Express, back in the 80’s I had my FFL license and ordered 2 of them when they first came out, 149.00 each from Grice Wholesale.

I bid on it, but got busy and thinking about it. I just thought it was a little high. Too busy at work when it closed. I've bought several 870's in the last year and they were way lower than that. That being said, I might have bought it is I was close to a computer.

To me it is more about the threaded barrel and availability of remchoke style chokes. With indian creek making them now its a huge plus. A run of the mill 16 gauge would needed threaded... then would be threaded in tru-choke more than likely... less choke availability.. If you consider the cost of a that and add in the cost of the non-threaded gun, you aint too far off price wise.
