Mossberg 940 pro turkey

Post by joeyk1214 »

Anyone got to pattern the mossberg 940 turkey pro in 18.5 inch barrel yet? I was holding one at the store and really liked it and the features it had a carlsons. 660 choke in it. Was just curious on how that short of a barrel is patterning before I decide to buy it.

I've got an 870 with an 18" barrel. I put a hastings turkey choke in it & shot some browning 7&9 blend tss in it. I shot it at 50yds, a turkey wouldn't survive it.
Could probably get better patterns with a different choke and shells.

It is loud with the short barrel....
