Traveling Long Box

Post by RW Mackey »

I have a Cost Style Long Box I’m donating for the traveling calls this year, it’s a new call I finished last month. It’s Yellowheart over Butternut, for those that can run a long box it’s a really sweet sounding
Call.
If you’d like to give it a try this spring let me know and I’ll start a list. Hoobilly will be posting a pic
shortly. I really love these calls, don’t go into the Turkey woods without one.

Thanks

RW Mackey

Got to use the long box in Tennessee this morning

Fired up a couple gobblers while trying to figure out where to go and while we were listening a group popped up behind us while standing and blew our hats back

Resulting in a miss by yours truly.. heading to Kentucky Monday morning.

Can’t wait to get dead gobbler pictures with it. Will also do a video of myself trying to run it soon.

If my nephew was only getting married a month earlier, I'd be right nextdoor. I've gotten so used to yelling at these Merriam's I'm not sure I could tone it down enough for an Eastern. :)

Indiana youth this weekend. General opener is Wednesday. Hoping to use this long box here to lure in a old Tom gobbler

And then we will find someone who I can send this to
Or I’ll take it to Kansas when I head west if not takers.

But y’all would be crazy to not hunt with this.

Need a member who I can ship this box call to
It’s a winner in my eyes

Had 2 gobble at it. But they wouldn’t commit. Was windy this morning.
