Been a tough fall season...Finally
Been a tough fall season...Finally
Took a couple toms in October and been out another 20 times watching and waiting for the turkeys to be where I can hunt them. Finally caught them in there yesterday. 800' elevation climb and 2 miles later, this guy was on the ground. One of my better fall toms over the years. There is nothing better for killing turkeys than a 28ga UL and 1 1/2oz of TSS #9s.

Good looking tom. Is his beard as brown as it appears in the photo?

It is blood on the beard. I hit him in the neck just above the beard.Hobbes_mobile wrote: ↑January 28th, 2022, 3:55 pm Good looking tom. Is his beard as brown as it appears in the photo?

Good hunting! I agree that the 28ga is awesome
I had an American Arms Silver overunder. Gave it to a business buddy years ago and wish I still had it.
