If you are like me, you have a few turkey beards hanging around the house and you have no idea where you shot them, when, etc.
As my kids started hunting, I have been looking for a way to "tag" beards so we know who shot them, where, etc. This is what I came up with.
I went to Michaels (the hobby store). In the Jewlery making area they have small tags (like a dog ID tag) and they also have letter punch sets.
I need to get a little more accurate in my stamping, but it does the trick!
This way we know what beards came from where, when and who shot them.
Just food for thought....

We use an electric engraving tool with date and location on the brass of the shot shell.

That’s a good idea too.
