Venison Stroganoff

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

Went do an Asian dish, low on Soy. Had meat all sliced thin, thought what I could do. Stroganoff. Haven't had it in years. Looked over some recipes all huge portions, did a few things different roasted garlic, used four cloaves, supplemented my beef stock with a heavy dose of Better than Boullion, some thyme and Worcesteshire.

Looks good. As long as there's no sour cream in it, I'm in!
GREAT picture!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Oh yeah. We substitute yogurt for sour cream all the time. Don't do sour cream.

We don't do stroganoff very often but pretty sure that my wife uses sour cream. I could probably go for the yogurt too. A couple big chunks of some good bread would go good with it, but bread is good with everything.
