Turkey Casserole with Leftovers

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

So like everyone the holiday was different every one is different since losing ma Christmas Eve of 18.

So I made a small meal Thursday wanted to hunt and didn't need much. Wanted few leftovers as possible, I was debating the fried rice I did with pork but instead made with pork, was gonna do creamy turkey noodle but just made creamy chicken rice last week. So decided on a casserole.
You've probably had it or something similar with biscuits or potpie, super easy super fast easy cleanup. I used smoked turkey, stuffing, garlic butter peas and carrots, corn, usually there's green bean casserole and mashed taters but I didn't make either I made candied sweet potatoes instead, I love them but probably not in this. Mixed with gravy and topped with croissant roll dough basted in butter. Alot of folks put the cranberry sauce on top I put on side just basted with butter, additional gravy another option.
Nothing fancy but delicious, Lord forbid next year is the same but I'll do this on Thursday instead of a meal.

Great way get rid of leftovers.

I bet that hits the spot!

We made turkey corn chili. I like to spice it up a hair with some heat
Don't start none, won't be none!

That sounds good. I take it it's a white chili

Outstanding, Tom. Pot pie in any way shape or form is great. It has to have a nice rich crust on top..
Looks delicious!
