After using a scope for 12 years I am switching out my Pentax Lightseeker 2.5X Scope for a Vortex Venom.
Here are a few pictures on how it looks.

Looks good.
I've been using a Venom the last two years and really like it. I went from a bead to the Venom, so it was a big change.

Looks good and if you’re use to that height from using a scope for so long, may be perfect. But did you look into mounting it lower with a mounting plate directly to the receiver? I think that setup would be too high for me to shoot comfortably.

It’s an awesome site. You will love it. Highly recommend the sumtoy base for mounting the site to the receiver.

You’re gonna like that setup, Mike.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Thanks guys for the comments.
With the shurshot stock the comb is higher. So I do not have to use my chin. I thought it would be too high too. But it is not. This Gun has been my man turkey hunting Gun for a long time.
I am also putting one on a 870 20 guage.
It will be drilled and tapped for a EGW Base and a Swampfox Reflex Red Dot.

Plus no plans on drilling and tapping this gun. I also wingshoot with the shotgun.
If I setup another 12 gauge I will either mount it on the receiver or a rib mount. And a raised comb if need be.
