Remington 1148 project

Post by aristico »

Got myself a remington 1148 in 16 ga and gave it a face lift....

Will hopefully be shooting a tom in the face next spring ...
Before

Sent it to William to have the barrel cut down to 23 inches and threaded and chocked.
Then had the stock and forend wrapped in carbon fiber.
Finally my smith cerakoted in mil spec green and drill and tapped....

Nice looking rig. I killed quite a few with an 11-48 in a 16 early in my life. And my Mom has killed a lot with it since then, and she still uses it a lot to this day. It's part of the family, and has been for a long time. I have one in a 410 as well, but never killed a turkey with it.
