Re: Some of my work
Local elderly lady hit me up. She had a squirrel that came daily for corn shed watch with her morning coffee, hawk came hit it. It was paralyzed, eventually died. She said I wanna set it by feeder in remembrance, I gave her a can of polyurethane and told her to spray it every two weeks. She called said it's almost like he's still alive.
While we're on squirrel, mounted my buddies kids first kill
Re: Some of my work
Man, I wish I'd known about you years ago. I don't have any mounts that even come close to the caliber of your work. It's just..... Spectacular!!
I've often toyed with the idea of getting into taxidermy, myself. I know you must be swamped with work, but would you consider being my mentor? Could we do some kind of correspondence class through the mail, or online? If you'd be willing to share your expertise with me, I'd have no problem sending you a blank check. Just fill in the amount. Whatever it is, I'd consider it well worth it for the education a taxidermist with your experience and obvious talent could teach me. Again, I'm sure you're a very busy man, but please consider my offer. It would mean the world to me if you would be willing to help a brother get into the trade.

I forgot to add that I showed the pics of your work to my taxidermist. He's been at it for many years and he's good at what he does. He was so impressed with your work, that he was left speechless. All he could do was stand there shaking his head. I just wanted to pass the compliment along to you.

No words can really describe it and I can't find any words in Webster's either

Awesome! I can't thank you enough for agreeing to take me under your wing. I can only hope that someday I'll be half as good a taxidermist as you are. Please pm me with your mailing address and I'll get that blank check sent out to you.ICDEDTURKES wrote: ↑January 3rd, 2019, 2:39 pm Yeah I'm swamped if u want apprentice ship it can be arranged. Now this deal includes hooking me up with the supplies that you use, right? I'm especially interested in those lifelike eyes.
Oh boy, I can't wait to tell Shari when she gets home. She may be skeptical at first, but when I show her the pictures of your work, I don't see how she could be anything but supportive.

Tom, you ever do any work for a fella outta Port Sulphur, LA? Went on a bowfishing trip a couple weeks ago and thought maybe I ran into a piece of your artwork on the wall.

Re: Some of my work
I killed a helluva coyote last year that I really wanted to get mounted but had a big hole in the neck from the shot. ICED found me a replacement cape in no time.
Just can’t believe how good it came out.
