Soup

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

I haven't been doing a ton of cooking lately well I have, but not really putting the effort in and when I do don't feel like taking pics. Got alot going on and trying to hunt a bit..

But this warrants posting.. Stuffed cabbage soup.. Very simple, cabbage, burger, rice, crushed and diced tomatoes, onions.. For flavor I winged it Italian, Basil, oregano, heavy hand of minced garlic, a shot of Worcesteshire and made my broth with Better than Boullion..

I was skeptical, I'm not a huge tomato fan and can take or leave stuffed cabbage.. This was really good, big flavor.. Simple and fast..

Normally I'd make er purty with some fresh parsley but their isn't any fresh herbs in vases in the fridge

Looks absolutely scrumptious. Great thick soup for a chilly day! I'm all in!!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

That is a nice looking bowl of thick soup, just right for a day like today,
that would pair up nice with some potato cakes pan fried in bacon grease in a cast iron pan
