A new Chili

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

I found a recipe for a Jalepeno Chili, thought it looked different enough.. Substituted Spicy Chorizo for the Hamburger.. Plus I made a Taco seasoning added that.. Chopped a pile of Cilantro, upped the Jalepenos added more bacon.. Used the black beans corn died tomato and garlic..

So I'm sampling as it simmers freiken spot on Killer.. After simmering for an HR I add the final ingriedient cream cheese..

It turned out good big flavor a nice punch of heat but not to much.. But the cream cheese I could do without.. Not that it made it bad, just changes the texture and didn't add anything..

With the cream cheese make a helluva dip, adding a cup of additional shredded cheese be an amazing dip on tortilla chips..

I will do this again and stop before the cream cheese, I'll also fry the bacon same pan and leave the drippings and I think it would be another chili add to the arsenal

Good time of year for chili! I'm all in but I concur on holding the cream cheese.
Sounds like I might not need the Tabasco after it's bowled. Perfect!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
