Spicy Chorizo Mexxy Corn Chowder
Yes!!!! Seriously Yes!!! Did I mention Yes...
I browned the chorizo ladled it out set aside.. Put in the onion, peppers and Jalepenos to saute.. As I'm stirring I'm thinking dang this is gonna be spicy as my eyes water..
So I go through putting it together took a taste dang that's not that spicy.. Had put it on a low simmer, had to run to store took booger on a two track took a walk..
I'm jonesing to get back and try.. First bite Wow this is tasty. The bite, it's absolutely perfect, is got enough bite to let you know it's there, no burning lips, grabbing milk, no the perfect bite.. May be a fuzz hot for people that are spicy sissies, but for some may not be spicy enough.. It's a dish you can call spicy but not hot and the description is perfect.. The flavor is huge..
Changes, I dunno anything.. I used Johnsonville spicy Chorizo, I like it I've used in sloppies, chili, stuffed pork loin, it's good.. Guess I could go to the butcher try a different one.. Could smash the potatoes make it thicker, but why.. Heat, I used three large Jalepenos, I wouldn't touch the flavor, but you could vary the number or even the type to cater to your crowd..
I like making different things and this is different, it would be a crowd pleased at a bar..
One change I'd a made some Jalepeno Cornbread
