Post by Hognutz »

Grilled up some ribeye and pan sautéd the scallops. Lowrys, butter and a dash EVOO. Crazy awesomeness!

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Thanks, Tom. It really was good. I took two pieces of the French bread and soaked up the yum yums in the scallop pan. OMG. Unbelievably delicious.

I agree, mg! It's about as tasty as you can get. Scallops are easy to find and so often overlooked. These came from Costco. And they freeze well!

Looks really tasty. Personally, I like my scallops with just a drop of lemon & a little drawn butter.
I like they way they tasty with just a bare minimum.

Try grilling the scallops bare naked (the scallops, not you!! ROTFLMAO!!)

Thanks, George!! I have grilled them and do like them that way. Butter is a must but I don't go through the process to "drawn" it.
When done on the stovetop, I sauté in butter and a drizzle if EVOO. Sprinkle with Lowrys and brown.
I'm not crazy about lemon on fish or seafood and I know I'm in the minority on that.

Different strokes for different folks. It sure would be boring if everybody did everything the same way.
