Pan fried Pork Chop

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

Had a buncha veggies needed used up, was shopping thinking what to have as a protein.. Pork Chops were on sale..
Gave them a three hour simple brine. seasoned with salt and pepper, got some oil smokin in a pan. Hammered down 4 minutes flip 3 rest. Meanwhile mixed Hoisin with a splat of ginger, minced some garlic, Rice Vinegar and a sprinkle of five spice, mixed and simmered and strained out the garlic. And drizzled over the finished chops..

Clean the crisper foil pack. Had some asparagus, shrooms, Zucchini, yellow squash and purple onion needed used.. A chit ton of butter and Total Seasoning in foil in oven at 400..

This came together so easy, swear jar empty.. Nailed the chops, touch a pink, and the brine did it's thing.. I was pleased..

That looks incredible!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Thanks guys Hoisin is growing on me...

I'mma make pork chops again this week.. I know my sides, I bought sprouts, I got a recipe for sprouts, that anti sprouters will change their tune.. Their so dang good little kids will pick them over french fries as a side.. You serve them with a Wagyu ribeye and one taste, the ribeye will be pushed aside until your out of sprouts.. If I was granted one last meal, it would be these sprouts..

Just kidding, but their pretty dang tasty..

Not sure what I'll do with the chop yet,
