I've had portobello mushrooms several ways, but haven't liked them all. We had some at a restaurant last night that were stuffed with some kind of shrimp then topped with cheese that were really good.
I decided to try some of my own tonight and found a sort of lasagna recipe.
Portobello, Italian sausage (patty), ricotta cheese, marinara, mozzarella cheese, then into the oven for 40 minutes. I really liked these.

That's almost what this was but only a bottom bun. I've had some that I didn't like but these and those from the restaurant were great.ICDEDTURKES wrote: ↑July 15th, 2021, 10:29 pm Looks awesome.. Mom used to make them alot with cheese and garlic..

No precook. Patties into/onto portobello then the rest. 375 for 40 cooked it all.spider316 wrote: ↑July 16th, 2021, 6:55 amDid you pre-cook the sausage at all and what temperature did you run em at ?
