Low & Slow - Part 2

Post by HunterGKS »

I decided that today was a good day to slow cook 4 Omaha Steaks boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
(Thx again, Etta.) I’m going to use a chicken rub from 5the Season to add a little more flavor.

It took about 20 minutes to grill to 155. The breasts were very tasty & 2 will be breakfasts in the morning.

Grill Juicy Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

Brine:

• 4 cups water
• 3 tablespoons sea salt

Chicken:

• 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
• 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or spray
• 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika or whatever seasoning gets your chicken airborne

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk the salt in the water to dissolve. Add the chicken breasts to the brine.
Put in the refrigerator and chill for 30 minutes.

2. Prepare your grill for indirect grilling. Coat the cool grill grates with olive oil.

3. Remove chicken breasts from brine and pat dry. Coat with olive oil, and sprinkle evenly with
paprika or spices.

4. Place chicken breasts on the hot side of the grill (or on the grill pan). Let the chicken grill,
undisturbed, until the pieces start getting some grill marks lifting up one to check.

5. When the breasts have browned on one side, turn them over, and move them to the cooler
side of the grill (low heat, not no heat). Cover, and let them finish cooking.

6. Remove chicken from grill when the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 155°F.

I wonder how long it will take this time?
