Ham Dinner Sorta

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

Can't see buying a whole ham either know I'm a Picnic ham guy and our local smoke shop has the best on sale at 88¢

So I opt for the quick and easy skillet Ham Steak with a Honey Glaze

2 TBL spoon Honey
2 TBL Brown Sugar
1 TBL spicy brown mustard
Splash ACV
Mix

TBL butter in pan over medium, add ham steak 3 minutes a side or until it sears. Brush each side with glaze, 3 minutes each side. The heat turns the glaze Sticky..

Works good with Real Maple Syrup as well.

Bacon Fried corn.. Probably my favorite corn recipe. I always add onion. If I have Peppers they get added. I had Cilantro on hand added after taken off heat.. Sometimes I'll add garlic too the grease but the bacon flavor usually enough
.

Mashed potatoes onions and carrots.. Went a fuzz light on carrot I guess

Eazy Peezee meal for a ham for without having leftovers all week. I did cook everything pretty much simultaneously with similar times which requires non stop attention, where normally I'd do ham steaks while taters were boiling and bacon was frying

That ham looks amazing. Now my stomach is growling.
Thank you Lord for creating these wonderful birds and allowing us to chase after them.
