Wild Rice Soup

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

I found a base recipe in fall made it tweaked it a bit was not bad but pretty bland.. Made again more tweaks was pretty good.. Tonight I basically did a complete makeover in amounts, ingredients, flavors and consistency.. I don't think I'll tweak again..

Original recipe just had, ham, carrots and one freakin tablespoon of minced onion and not the dried lol Also it had zero flavoring agents.

Added: Bacon, Mushrooms, alot more ham and alot more onion chopped as well as four other elements to add flavor..
Helped a friend who's s foodie tonight with some habitat work, brought him a Tupperware container and a spoon, he ate a spoonful, took the Tupperware container and tilted it to his mouth ate it all and asked for the recipe.. Made feel good, for rushing and flying by seat of my pants

That looks hearty and delicious. Great for a chilly spring day..
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
