Pork Osso Buco

Dinner tonight...decided to keep it simple..Pork Osso Buco with a Cheese Risotto....

I thought simple was grilled blackstrap and fried taters!!!! Looks delicious!!!

I've never had it, but saw a recipe for doing that with deer or elk just a day or so ago. Somehow I think the pork would be better.

Heck, the only thing I understood in the whole thing was pork.....
Don't know what it is or how it is made, but it looks good

Its a pork shank braised in a tomato based sauce with some carrots, celery and olives...

Look at the NWTF site, after the hunt section in recipes. There is a recipe for turkey osso bucco using legs and thighs. It is a pain to cook so I wait and make a big bunch and freeze what we do not eat the first time. This is a recipe that you should cook one day, refrigerate, warm and eat the second day. It is my new favorite turkey recipe.
