Brats, Peppers, & Fries

Kroger also had beer brats on sale as well as the prime rib this weekend so I had to partake.
When these sales occur, my cooking instincts seem to go into hyper-drive. Besides, cooking
is 1 of the few things I can do right now without my left knee screaming at me.
I decided to have a meal of brats, bell peppers, & fries all cooked in the sir fryer. The temps
& times were all different so I am going to experiment trying to cook all 3 at the same time.
I had left over spices from the prime ribs & used it on the peppers & tators.
I put the brats on the lowest level, then the fries above them with the peppers on the top
level. I will cook everything at 370 for 13 minutes checking about ½ way through. I did
have to cook the brats for an additional 5 minutes.
Everything turned out pretty good but the peppers were a little softer than I like.
I wonder how long it will take this time?
Air Fryer Sausage
1. Preheat the air fryer to 180 ° C or 360 ° F which usually takes around 3 minutes
2. Prick holes into the sausages before placing them in the air fryer.
3. Place the sausages into the air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes turning ½ way
through.
Air Fryer Bell Peppers
Ingredients
• 3 bell peppers
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
1. Cut the bell peppers in half, cut off and discard the stem, scoop out and discard the seeds. Cut each half in half again lengthwise. Cut to the desired size.
2. Toss bell pepper pieces with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
3. Put bell peppers in the air fryer basket and cook at 400F for 13 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
The fries have an auto-set of 370 for 15 minutes.
