Ingredients
1 3 lb rack of pork baby back ribs cut in half, membrane removed
3 Tbsp BBQ rub
½-1 cup BBQ sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. Season the ribs with BBQ rub, covering both sides of the ribs.
2. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit for a few minutes, then place the ribs in
the air fryer basket, meat side down and cook for 20 minutes.
3. Once the 20 minutes is up, grab a pair of tongs and flip the ribs over, and cook for an
additional 20 minutes on 380 degrees. Depending on the thickness of the ribs,
additional frying time may be needed
4. Optional: Once the timer is up, open the basket and cover with the BBQ sauce.
Return to Air fryer and cook for 5 minutes on 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
5. Remove and allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes. Feel free to cover with additional
BBQ sauce if you like saucy ribs.
This rack was so thick, I had to fry for an additional 10 minutes meat side up. They turned out
really juicy, tender, & tasty. I am developing a whole new respect for air fryers!!
