Philly Peppers

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

So as I posted in the Mexican Stuffed Pepper thread I am not a fan of traditional stuffed Peppers but loved those. So I saw something about a Stuffed Pepper Philly. Really bland recipe. Didn't do much but added a few things for flavor and it worked.

3 Peppers
1/2 lb Roast Beef I used Lunch Meat I'm.sure Deli meat or Shaved Ribeye would work awesome This worked really well
Cheese: I had a bag of Mozzarella/Provolone mix
2 Med Onions
1/2 lb or so shrooms
Worcesteshire
Olive Oil
Butter
Total Seasoning
Garlic

Slice pepper in half. Cut out ribs and seeds. Shred beef in strips, place in bag splash of Worcesteshire and a few shakes of Seasoning kneed and set aside.

Heat Oven to 400. Caramelize Onions in Butter, Minced Garlic and Evoo and with about five minutes left add beef and Mushrooms

When done, place handful of cheese in bottom each Pepper. Tong in meat veggie mixture told flush. Top with cheese. In oven for 25-30 minutes, voila. Stupid Easy.

Recipe I found only had one garlic clove as sole seasoning I put 2 minced cloves, I love garlic. Total Seasoning is one of my favorites, I use it alot from veggies to chicken, to steak, to pizza. Worcesteshire I love. Ratio meat/cheese/Veggies above was pretty close. I started with one onion ended up firing up second pan doing another I never start with enough or maybe I eat half of them while they're cooking lol

Flavor was really good as the pepper cooks leaching moisture really blends the flavors together

Give um a try

I got an air fryer today, now to figure this thing out

They look really good. I'm not crazy about green peppers but I would certainly give those a go. They definitely are inviting!
