I found this recipe few months ago it needed a lil something, day after added a liberal amount Garlic and Onion Powder it really popped.
So today finally found Wild Rice. The original only calls for Ham, Carrot and a tiny amount of Onion.
Today I amped it up. I used the Ham but also fried three slices of Bacon saving a little grease to add. Vegetables I used alot of Onion, Carrot and added Celery as well as Mushrooms. Added a good bit of Garlic and Onion Powder.
I really like this soup, it's something different. Ate it as main but would work well as an appetizer or with a salad for a full meal.

Looks hearty and delicious!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Lol I actually cut flour in half and used extra chicken broth it's thick still. I had full kicker cream which would as well but opted for half and half.soiltester wrote: ↑December 30th, 2020, 7:38 am Just a tad thicker and what a dip fer' chips & whatever !!! MMMMMMMMMMMMM
