Hawaiian Chicken

Post by ICDEDTURKES » November 2nd, 2020, 7:33 pm

So I cheated and did something I never do used a slow cooker. Very simple ingredients, 6 hrs on low and then served over brown rice. Only thing I'd change is add honey

Served with a roasted Hawaiian Vegetable Medley which was very good. Different then ones I typically do. It would be a meal with a good heaping of cubed hamsteak.

Wife tried something new with rice and black beans and lime zest. That part tasted fine, but it called for cubed sweet potato. By themselves the sweet potatoes or beans and rice were fine but not together. I suspect it was a vegetarian recipe that she tried to sneak by me.
