Any of you folks own a PK Grill.I am thinking about buying one.

Depends on what kind of cooking you're planning to do. If you want to grill only, then the PK should be fine. If you want to grill and also smoke (low and slow), then I'd look at a Vision kamado-style cooker. I've had my Vision for several years now and would highly recommend it! I'd look up video reviews on Youtube and decide based on that.

It looks like a particularly expensive portable grill. What is the attraction over, say, a Weber kettle?

I've been thinking about buying a PK myself. I have a cast-aluminum grill that's 30 plus years old, a PK is as close to it as I've found. $800.00 is a lot of money but if it lasts half as long as the one I'm replacing that ain't too bad.

What I am looking at is how durable the cast aluminum is. It should out last a weber by many years. The basic model go's for around 350.00

I can't give a review of a PK but the cast aluminum grill have has outlasted several Webers, owned by friends.
