venison pho

Post by WoodMoose »

So pho is one of my favorite dishes (of many favorites 😄) but have never tried to make it . For those who have never had pho, the boiling broth cooks the meat.

bought some premade pho broth

Ingredients:
  • Pho broth
    Sliced onion
    Sliced mushrooms
    Rice noodles
    Thin sliced venison loin
Sides:
  • basil
    Cilantro
    Green onion
    Thin sliced jalapeños
    Bean sprouts
    Lime
    Siracha
Poured the broth in a sauce pan, added some sliced onion and sliced mushroom and heated

Prepped the sides /adds while broth heated

Put some water in another pot for cooking rice noodles

when broth was at boiling cook the rice noodles (only takes a minute or two)

put noodles in bowl, add broth and meat, add sides and spice to suit and chow down

Looks good. I don't normally care for rice noodles, but the rest looks good. I'm assuming that's a box of seasoned broth.
