Cold weather meal

Post by ICDEDTURKES »

So like many of you snowed in, it's indoor cooking, Sal's been craving goulash. She went to town concotting a new recipe. It's got a bite which I love over three cheese tortellini. Said she just started dumping stuff in, I'm her biggest critic this was spot on and I'm not a goulash fan. She's a mad scientist in kitchen.

Sal's killing you bud lol She's a mad scientist in kitchen. Like tonight, taste this, what does it need? I have a good handle on spices, sal needs more of this, 5 minutes later, try this.

I'm full tasting before I sit down for meal. I'm a real really good outdoor bbq, grill, griddle cook she is too. I'm very fortunate she's a great indoor down home cook. She's always and I mean every night she has her nose in a new cookbook

I've been in a hotel since Saturday and trying to avoid spending cash at restaurants, so lots of microwave and sandwiches. It would look good regardless, but it really looks good under these circumstances.

Thanks. When we use to travel alot we used a nuwave induction cooktop in hotels. It's no joke, it's awesome. Carried a cast pan and a pot. Anything from deep frying, to searing, to no noodles. Plus you can't light the place on fire.. We now have two, Sears steak better than grill, boils water way faster than stove

You're a lucky man, is all I can say. There are a lot of great cooks out there. All my aunts, and my mother,... best there is. My wife, not so much. She tries to burn the house down making toast.
She does pretty good with chinese food, or at least I think she does. She eats it, but not me,...Yuuukk!
I'm the cook in this family.

At our house, I know it’s time to eat when the smoke alarm goes off!
