Stoeger m3020
Im picking up a stoeger m3020 im looking for ammo and choke recommendations
Re: Stoeger m3020
Depends on what you want. LongBeard XR #6s and TSS #9 would probably be a consensus as best or most commonly used rounds. Start .562-.575 in your choke. I use either a .562 Sumtoy or a .570 Jebs in my Affinity that also uses the Mobil chokes and get excellent results with either.....
Re: Stoeger m3020
If I shoot tss it will be the federal 9s because I can get them local as far as lead loads it will be the winchester longbeard xr in 5s or 6sGmed wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2021, 10:56 am Depends on what you want. Before spending money on a choke. I highly suggest you try the factory turkey choke it comes with. I was shooting some awesome patterns with mine and a hand load #9

My Factory choke in my Stoeger M3020 was really good. I shot Federal TSS out of mine.

I’ve had my M3020 for 6yrs. I’ve had the same Carlsons extended .575 in it from the beginning. I load multiple recipes from Hal. It loves multiple 1 5/8oz loads. The past two seasons I’ve been using a 1.5oz load of Hal’s and it’s my favorite.

I shoot Affinnity 3 20 gauge with #9 TSS by Hal with a 575 Carlsons. Apex GT20’s #9 also work very good.
