in search of low profile rail for Stevens 301 (with pic's) need help
the factory picatinny rail on my Stevens 301 sits really high, i can mount a scope no problem and i think pattern it BUT it brings my cheek well above where i would like it to be on the stock. i know Sumtoy makes a low profile BASE for red dot scopes but how about a low profile picatinny RAIL ??? any help or suggestions?

Re: in search of low profile rail for Stevens 301 ????
a buddy did that on his 20ga Stevens 301. Took it to his machine shop buddy and had him machine a 700 Remington rail to fit.
Looked a 1/2” lower

Sumtoy does NOT offer a low profile picatinny rail.

Why not but a rail and drill holes to fit the Steven's yourself? Just a thought.

Or use a Bear Tooth Comb kit to raise the comb.

Beartooth kit worked for my 301. Easy fix.
