Contest's Best Picture

Post by Gobbler »

MKW PMed me and wants to award one of his AWESOME trumpet calls to the person in the contest that posts the best picture from the contest killed this spring. This will be a contest within the contest. :thumbright:

I want to thank MKW for this. He builds a beautiful quality call.
He will keep track with our help on the best picture and award the call at the end of the contest during the online awards banquet.

Mike will post pictures of the call soon in this thread.

Again Thank you Mike.

Cool! The winner won't be disapointed. Good to everyone.

And very generous offer MKW.

Thanks fellas! I really like this sight and want to contribute. I'm gonna talk it over with Gobbler, but I'm considering doing a "best picture" contest rather than a "NWTF scoring" deal. What do y'all think would be better?? I think the picture thing might be more fun and you might could win with a 2yr old and a nice picture.

I think either way would be fine. If you go with best picture you could let the Mod's and MKW pick out the top three or so, then let the members vote on the best of the best. Just an idea.

That was pretty much what I was thinking...have a sticky thread where folks in the contest could submit one photo per turkey entered, and at the end I'd pick my top 3 and put up a poll where the rest of the contest participants could pick the overall winner.

It sounds like somebody don't need a trumpet, 'cause he's already good at tooting his OWN horn.

I'm not sure. I have one of Mikes Trumpets and would love to have another one, but I'm going to exclude myself either way. I don't want to hurt anyones chances of winning one of MKW's trumpets.

Great idea, Thanks Mike.

I just happen to have the two cutest grand-daughters in the world. Now if I could only get them into the picture, hmmm. gotta think....

This is great news. Another in a long line of prizes I will win this season!

Seriously, very sweet contest. I want to buy one of his horns anyway after hearing Roy play it. A chance to win one is awesome! Thanks Mike and Doug.
