3 coyotes with a shotgun and 1 with a rifle!

IMG_4239 by , on FlickrThis coyote was shot at 60 big steps away with a 12 ga 3" 1-1/2 oz load of TSS #3 shot, it was a DRT shot. jp7mag got to watch this coyote climb straight up that steep bare mountain in the background. Where I was laying down with my shotgun I didn't see the coyote until it topped the mountain.
IMG_4247 by , on FlickrThis coyote jp7mag got to watch it come in from over a half mile away. The coyote stopped at about 100 yards out and jp7mag put it down with his 243 Win.
IMG_4254 by , on FlickrI should have got some good live pictures of this coyote but I put my camera down because I thought we were in to tight of cover. jp7mag was there with his shotgun so I should have just kept my camera in my hands.
The coyote walked right up to within 15 feet of my Foxpro and posed for pictures for about 15 seconds before I shot it with my shotgun.

The wind started blowing hard and the clouds moved in on us so we gave up and headed home at about 3:00 pm.
It was a fun day!
