Made Gratiot County in Michigan last Sunday in time to ride in my buddy's drillin' tractor, in his last field he was planting in soys for the spring, well for the 1st time anyway
We scouted that night, and I Monday morning and we did that evening and he finally had time to hunt Tuesday morning.
Set up at 5:30am and had quite the gobblin' sound show from 3 different areas around us
They had roosted in his woods west from where we thought they should be, but when they came out, they were 2-40's over that were planted to soys.
When they made the next field over, I called and they answered, and it was game time.
They crossed the last fencerow and spotted the DSD jake n' hen, and it was just like fishin', reel em' in.
19#, 10" beard, 7/8" spurs.
Oh, I fer'gits' to say, the NEW boss, jumped on the OLD Boss n' then the DSD jake Imagine that

May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
