I'm glad to hear that you're on the mend. A friend had a similar diagnosis/condition and found that using two walking/hiking poles really helped him w/ time. He would stand up utilizing the poles and for several minutes would do forward/backward-side to side movements to acclimate his body to being upright before he started walking. As he walked he would often stop, take steps backward and side to side. It was a slow continual process, but thankfully he now is 100%. He also felt that his diet w/ avoidance of several foods and drinks was helpful. Keep the faith!
