I typically carry one pot call and in my other pot call pocket I put my car keys.

I was inside about one pocket too, but when I had it in it was nice and made sense. It ia different , for sure

Been chasing Turks for 35 years. Been thru a lot of vests.
Most are okay. Some good. A lot were crap. NONE WERE PERFECT.
Even have a Bob Dixon. It’s not the vest everyone raves about.
HEAVY AND BULKY & HOT

I was looking for a vest for my 17yr old daughter. She is petite at 5’ and 90#
That SITKA vest was fully adjustable for her or even a muscular 6’ man.
Looked at EVERY vest at the NWTF Show.
Not one fit her and few impressed me.
UNTIL I saw the Sitka vest!!! $250. Expensive—Yes.
Good layout. Good seat. VERY Lightweight. And vest is vented and curved to
lay off your back to stay cooler.
It also is water bladder compatible. Lol even has 2 straps on the should to attach to the legs on the carry out.
My Daughter has all Sitka(only quality clothing for women)
I can tell you it’s well made, comfortable, and tough.
We walked for 3 days thru sage brush and rocks.
it looks untouched.
I now have 2 Sitka vests on hold and will get them March 7th
When released.

I think most of the Sitka haters just haven’t used quality gear.
Or they are too tight to drop the cash.
I WAS BOTH until First lite and Sitka came along.

I should’ve tried on the Sitka best at David Halloran’s booth. I looked at it from a distance

Aaron Horton said that vest was 80% and will probably be improved upon as time goes. Should be perfect for run n gunners

Dtrkyman wrote: February 18th, 2022, 12:06 pm Looks like the timber pattern on that one, saw sub alpine on another. I was hoping for some turkey specific new pattern.

gaswamp probably typed that reply on an over priced Asian product. Sitka may be put together over seas but their quality has been fantastic for me.

Not really looking for a new vest but I would like to see a detailed breakdown on it, not even on Sitka's site yet and youtube has no coverage of the convention at all that I can find.
Sitka turkey vest is up and for sale on there web sight. If you use a vest it looks pretty nice and it is in the timber and subalpine camo patterns.

I used an Ol Tom for several years before it literally fell apart. I got a Cabela's Tactical Tator when
they were relatively cheap, prolly 12-15 years ago, & it is still in real good shape. I'll continue to
use it until one of the other of us gives up the ghost. I don't usually buy stuff that's "new & improved"
when old tried & true still works.

They should have worn a solid color behind the vest in the video. I can't tell vest from shirt.

While on the subject have any of you tried the Sitka equinox guard pant. I handled them locally and they feel like they would be comfortable enough and durable but just unsure of the leg liners that tuck into your socks. At 249$ they are steep but everything is nowadays.

I got mine on Wednesday. I think it will be the one I been searching for. It is well made, well thought out, has enough storage for me, fits great, and is light.
I don’t think it will be a hit with kitchen sink guys.

For anyone that has one or seen in person, do you think it would be a good hot weather vest? Thanks.
