I’d mount it, put it on the wall, and then sell all my deer hunting equipment.

Agreed to all of the above. It's her biggest but she's shot some real toads! My nephew is her "guide"!

I like that she smiles in her pictures. I can’t stand it when a person has that “I’m an escaped convict” look in a dead critter picture

That's a dandy! The youngsters have dropped quite a few big bucks in Iowa this year, so far. We didn't have any luck, though. All Gus got during youth season was new allergies. We had a few yearlings in range, but no bucks. He says deer hunting sucks and would much rather hunt turkeys. LOL! I agree.

I started this week with the cooler weather (mornings) here in Michigan. Lots of activity, small bucks pushing does and a couple mature bucks just following. Should really crank up this weekend with a cold front moving in.

I'm perplexed last year I had a beautiful 2.5 10 on camera a couple times.. Neighbor 3/4 mile up had him after gun season so he made it.. He had all the fixings be something this year as a 3 year old.

Tonight, beautiful 10 pt.. Looks the same a lil taller, but dad gum looks 2.5.. He's got a broken tine.. Heck now I'm wondering if last year was his first rack... Or a different buck..

There's gotta be something back here.. Or there all Scrappy.. Got one 8 pt whos rack looks like he got hit by a car..

Gotta be a bruiser close by busting times like that

Deer grow racks irrationally and don’t follow guidelines like we sometimes think

Anyone who has spoken to deer farmers learn that a 1 year old can grow freakishly with the right food

Last year same way.. I had a good 3 year old 8 last year, first time saw him I was with a buddy he's like get on him, pull up same time were like he's only got one side..

The bottom is so dang thick, tags and Reed canary grass.. Literally 15 yard shooting tops without lanes.. It's a 1.5 section, not a ton of pressure, the middle really doesn't get touched, it's a tough go, theirs ag on the outskirts.. Theirs deer that nobody sees..
