Over on AT they have some pretty compelling information stating this buck came off a game farm. Including a pic of the same guy holding the rack at a high fenced game farm.

Some giant freaks falling.. Just saw a stud from SD..

Seriously though.. If I am ever blessed to kill a giant here in my county, 160+, where thats a giant.. You'd win any buckpole by 20 inches. I'm seriously not letting anyone see it but my really close friends, nobody can bring there cell phone in the barn so no pics..

One of my best friends talks to everyone, he knows what everyone has shot.. He'd be able to see it, he'd tell people, have no pics.. Be hilarious once it got out, see people.. Heard you shot a good one, you got any pics.. Yeah
Can I see them
There on my computer lol
Where'd you shoot him
Right behind the front shoulder

Drive that joker 3 hrs away get mounted. ..

The rumors be priceless in our small town.. It's sad anymore you shoot a buck like that and get national attention or shoot something large for your hood, like my example, the hate is gonna flow..

I think they determined this buck was killed on a fenced in deer farm. Patoka River Whitetails was the farm. Don't know how he thought he would get away with this.
People will do anything for a little fame I guess.

It sounds like yes they have verified everything. It is sounding like they are trying to keep everything somewhat quiet to not cause a big stink and somewhat protect the client, but at the same time not allow the false claim into the record book. Sounds like they have video and picture evidence of everything.

I got a buddy on the game commission, they are still sorting everything out. So anything is still possible, but not likely. Honestly I truly hope that it's legit, he did everything right and Pakota is in the wrong somehow, but at this point it is very unlikely.
