What could be any better?
What could be any better?
Nothing I can think of could make a feller feel better (other than seeing your kid take his first one) than to know you have taught him enough to take em himself now. He’s 22 soon to be 23, and has already taken more gobblers than I had by age 35. I didn’t have a turkey mentor and had to learn on my own. I got to pass what turkey know how I leaned “hard knocks” on to him before he ran in to the same mistakes. His bird from this morning solo. Third one he has taken by himself....wish I had been there just to watch....

Congratulations to both of you! Hoping I can get my son to love turkey hunting over next few years too.
